Dr. Ross Schulte grew up in Milbank, South Dakota, where he learned the value of service by accompanying his father, a small-town veterinarian, from farm to farm. Those early experiences instilled in him a deep commitment to helping others – a commitment that ultimately guided him into the field of dentistry.
Ross completed his undergraduate studies at South Dakota State University before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the University of Nebraska in 1997. After five years of training under his uncle at the Canton Dental Clinic, he purchased Dr. Cliff Spieker’s practice in Watertown in 2002. A few years later, <a href="https://lavenderblush-echidna-763687.hostingersite.com/dr-ross-<a href="https://lavenderblush-echidna-763687.hostingersite.com/dr-ross-<a href="https://lavenderblush-echidna-763687.hostingersite.com/dr-ross-schulte/”>schulte/”>schulte/”>Ross and his wife, Aimee, expanded their vision by moving into a new facility in 2008, creating space for Aimee to establish Watertown Family Eyecare alongside his dental practice.
In addition to his professional and community roles, Ross has faithfully served in the Air National Guard for many years. His dedication and leadership continue to be recognized, and he is scheduled to be promoted to Lieutenant Colonel in March 2026 – a reflection of his ongoing commitment to serving both his country and his community.
Married since 1996, Ross and Aimee have been blessed with five children – all of whom attended Watertown Christian School. Whether serving lunch, building projects, or contributing to countless fundraisers, they have been deeply involved in the life and growth of the school. Their firsthand understanding of the sacrifice and community effort required to sustain private Christian education has fueled Ross’s continued service.
Even after their children graduated from WCS, Ross remained committed to the Eagle Education Foundation. His passion for seeing the next generation grounded in truth and equipped with a Christ-centered education motivates his ongoing involvement. He believes every child should have the opportunity to learn in an environment where faith and academic excellence work hand in hand – preparing them to step boldly into the world and make a meaningful difference.
Outside of work and service, Ross and Aimee enjoy spending quality time with their family and relaxing at the lake. Ross can often be found fishing, on the water, or enjoying outdoor activities in every season.
